BE PART OF THE JOURNEY ! (April 27/28 - May 11/12, 2011*subject to change)

March of the Living is an educational journey that delves into the tragic past of the Jewish people in Poland and rejoices in the Jewish present and future in Israel.

This year, Montreal will send two Grade 11 delegations on the March of the Living program. Students will walk hand-in-hand the three-kilometer distance separating Auschwitz from Birkenau on Yom Hashoah – Holocaust Remembrance Day, May 2, 2011.

Visit the remnants of rich pre-Holocaust Jewish life in Poland, as well as Majdanek and Treblinka, remembering the millions who lost their lives. Moving on to Israel, celebrate the beauty and accomplishments of the State of Israel as she celebrates her 63rd birthday on Yom Ha’atzmaut.

Share this opportunity of a lifetime with other Montrealers and thousands of Jewish youth from around the world.
